At Spectra we make masterbatch for a variety of uses ranging from cosmetic bottles and caps to computer and mobile phone casings.

All of our masterbatches are polymer specific and custom made to suit our customer's needs, not only on colour but heat stability, light fastness and food contact approval.

In this section we hope to demonstrate not only the uses to which masterbatch can be put but also what is achievable in modern polymers and with the pigments currently available. In addition we will try to illustrate how colour works in plastic and how it differs from other mediums such as printing.
